Last weekend, May 31 and June 1, 2025, in the beautiful surroundings of Villa Braun in Sarajevo, was held 4th Sarajevo Maker Faire — the largest festival of science, technology, innovation and creativity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among the exhibitors who attracted the attention of visitors was 3D Republic , with its demo stand and display of the latest solutions from the world of 3D printing, scanning and digital production.
Our team, led by the Prime Minister of the 3D Republic, Raret Svetozar Kolesar, presented technologies that change the way we think about design, production and education. Visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of our 3D printers, scanners and applications that we develop for industrial and educational applications.
Creativity at the heart of Villa Braun
This year's theme "City Makers: Urban Lab" was dedicated to sustainable urban development, and 3D Republika showed with its presence how digital production can contribute to smarter, more efficient and sustainable cities. Examples of the application of 3D technology in architecture, prototyping and youth education stood out at the stand.
Regional cooperation and exchange of knowledge
The event brought together over 200 participants from BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia, and more than 5,000 visitors of all generations passed through the space of Villa Braun during two days. Rare used the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from the region, connect with educational institutions and startups, and present the vision of 3D Republic as a regional leader in the field of digital production.
