The "Mihajlo Pupin" Institute (IMP) is a leading scientific research organization in information and communication technologies (ICT) and the largest and oldest institute in Southeast Europe.
The scientific research profile of the "Mihajlo Pupin" Institute consists of a synthesis of scientific and expert knowledge in a wide range of fields such as: electronics, automation, process management, computing, telecommunications, digital signal processing, information systems, software engineering and robotics.
The institute is 100% state-owned, and the largest percentage (90-95%) of its income comes from the sale of products and services on the domestic and foreign markets. About 5-10% of earnings are earned by participating in scientific research projects financed by the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia. Approximately 8% of the Institute's income is realized on the basis of the export of products and services.
