The filament buffer is an accessory that is required when using a single AMS unit. Its function is to provide a tension-relieving effect on the filament. The interface includes a 4-pin cable with a 3mm pitch and a clip-in input connector, as well as a 6-pin cable with a 3mm pitch and an open-clip output connector.
