The filament sensor is used to detect the filament feed status to prevent problems during printing and improve overall printing efficiency.
When printing with multiple filaments, a filament sensor can detect filament entry and exit and transmit that information to the AMS Lite system for filament switching.
It can also detect filament jam situations and immediately transmit the information to the printer.
