The hardened steel extruder gear set is an internal component of the hardened steel extruder unit. It consists of a drive gear and an active gear that work together to feed the filament to the hotend.
Made of durable materials, the hardened steel extruder gear has better printing ability with tough engineering filaments like PAHT-CF and PET-CF for long-lasting performance. If wear or clogging occurs due to long-term use, users can simply replace the extruder gear set instead of the entire extruder unit.
The P1 series extruder unit comes with a stainless steel extruder gear. Users can upgrade to a hardened steel extruder gear for better wear resistance in engineered filaments.
