Excellent first layer adhesion and improved durability
By optimizing the production process of the textured PEI board, its durability is improved, and the adhesion between the prints and the board is significantly improved, thus eliminating the need for adhesives.
In some cases, for specific filaments, glue is still needed.
Self-release when cool
PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing because it can withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles. Prints are easily separated when the temperature of the heating plate drops to room temperature (recommended below 35℃). If the model still sticks, just bend the steel plate and the model will fall off.
Compatible with different filaments
PEI enables printing with PLA, TPU, PETG, but also materials that require high temperatures such as ABS and nylon.
Reliable magnetic adhesion to prevent bending
The plate contains stainless steel with a thickness of 0.5 mm that improves magnetic adhesion, prevents bending and enables quality printing, especially for larger models and materials prone to deformation (ABS, PC, nylon).
Textured surface
Thanks to the PEI coating powder, the surface of the plate has a unique texture that is transferred to the first layer of the print.
Notes
- Increasing the temperature of the hot plate improves adhesion.
- Before automatic leveling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the tip of the nozzle in the zone provided for it. Wear and tear in that area is normal.
- Dust and grease reduce adhesion - regular cleaning with detergent and water is recommended.
- Do not use acetone - it damages the PEI surface.
- Wait for the board to cool before removing the model.
- Fine sanding (600 grit sandpaper) can help restore adhesion.
- The latest firmware improves calibration with the Micro Lidar sensor.
- The PEI board is considered a consumable - the warranty only covers manufacturing defects.
