This part number represents one (1) silicone nozzle guard for the S Series.
A silicone nozzle guard is placed on the bottom of the print head to close the gap for the print cores. It forms a seal around the tips of the nozzles. Its function is to protect the print cores from the airflow from the fan and to prevent backflow of material in case something goes wrong during printing.
This is a consumable part; replacement is recommended after 400 hours of operation.

Note: This version of the nozzle guard is not compatible with UltiMaker 3 or Factor 4; those printers use a slightly smaller version.
