Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene ( ABS ) is an extremely strong and flexible plastic. It is suitable for additional processes (grinding, milling, polishing, etc.) without damaging the model itself.
It can be painted, and it withstands temperatures up to 90 - 100 degrees Celsius. In addition to being the most used plastic in everyday life, it is also a favorite among engineers. The combination of flexibility and strength make it ideal for making prefabricated elements that can be used as prototypes, spare parts or as final products. ABS plastic is a strong material with very high impact resistance, which makes it suitable for functional prototypes and conceptual models. It is good to know that thick or large prototypes should be printed with a lower density due to the specificity of the material.
