The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Sarajevo was founded in 1958 and for over 10 years it was the only Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo are conceptually and structurally aligned with the provisions of the Statute of the University of Sarajevo, which, among other things, determine the adaptation of studies to the Bologna process and the evaluation of student work through ECTS points.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo has numerous connections with European, American and Australian universities where many members of the Faculty have master's degrees and/or doctorates and maintain contacts with them. Professors from abroad hold lectures at all teaching cycles.
