The Aranđelovac College of Vocational Studies was founded in Aranđelovac in 1960 by decree of the then Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Over the course of fifty years, the school's curricula changed in accordance with the new achievements of science and technology and were adapted to the needs of the economy and society. Today, the curriculum is modeled after the most famous schools and colleges in the country. The program orientation of the school reflects contemporary trends in higher education, scientific work and economic development. The school is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Serbia and provides teaching at two levels through 7 study programs (basic and master's/specialist vocational studies).
In 2012, the Higher Technological School of Vocational Studies was accredited for the second time (first time in 2007) by the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Control, both for the institution and for complete study programs. High accreditation criteria have been met and quality and consistency in all processes and standards have been proven once again.
