The AMS lite Filament Funnel Unit is an internal component of the AMS lite Feed Unit. It consists of structural parts and a plate with a sensor for detecting the filament. Like the feed unit itself, the funnel comes in left and right versions.
Note: The left and right versions of the hopper can only be installed in the respective feed units. Please check that you have selected the correct version (left or right) before purchasing.
When the sensor detects filament insertion, the funnel automatically pulls the filament forward. If there is an incorrect insertion, the sensor recognizes it and sends the information back to the 3D printer.
