Kako proveriti da li desikant treba zameniti

Desikant treba zameniti kada ceo paket postane žut jer tada gubi sposobnost da održava filament suvim. Takođe preporučujemo ponovno sušenje filamenta u tom trenutku. Molimo vas da proveravate da li desikant treba zameniti svake 2 nedelje.

User manual

Take 2 to 3 new packs of desiccant, remove the plastic wrap from the desiccant and install it in the designated location in the AMS.

Close the lid of the AMS to keep the filament dry. Please ensure that the shutters on the AMS are closed to isolate the AMS from outside air.

How to check if the desiccant needs to be replaced

When new, the desiccant will be in the form of a white powder. When the desiccant absorbs moisture, it will gradually turn into a yellow paste. The desiccant should be replaced when the entire package turns yellow because then it loses its ability to keep the filament dry. We also recommend re-drying the filament at that point. Please check if the desiccant needs to be replaced every 2 weeks.
